Capacity Project (Global)

This five-year initiative is strengthening human resources for health through improving workforce policies and planning, developing better education and training programs for the workforce and strengthening systems to support workforce performance.

Improving Access and Uptake of Routine Confidential Counseling and Testing (Zambia) 
This project works to improve access to and uptake of quality confidential HIV counseling and testing in two districts of the Republic of Zambia.

MNCH/FP/Malaria Project (Senegal) 

The project works to improve maternal and child mortality and morbidity rates, as well as increase access to family planning and prevent malaria cases.

Mobilize Against Malaria (Senegal) 

The project works to address critical gaps in malaria treatment and education in Senegal.

Provider-Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC) Project (Tanzania)

The PITC Project is strengthening Tanzania’s capacity to provide HIV testing and counseling as well as HIV/AIDS prevention and care.

Reduce the Impact of HIV in Southern Sudan

IntraHealth is working with the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) to manage HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment interventions in the military. 

The Southern Africa Human Capacity Development Coalition (Lesotho and Swaziland)

The Southern Africa Human Capacity Development (SA-HCD) Coalition is working, beginning in Swaziland and Lesotho, to improve the delivery of HIV/AIDS services.

Twubakane Decentralization and Health Program (Rwanda)

This project aims to increase the use of community health services in four provinces, focusing especially on reducing child and maternal mortality.

USAID HIV/AIDS Clinical Services Program (Rwanda)

The USAID HIV/AIDS Clinical Services Program (HCSP) is working to reinforce Rwanda’s health care system and expand access to HIV/AIDS clinical services.

Vistaar Project (India)

 Vistaar supports the government in improving maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition by demonstrating sustainable models to be scaled-up to address these issues.

IntraHealth-supported Projects

ACQUIRE Project (Global)

The project worked on advancing and supporting the use of facility-based reproductive health and voluntary family planning services (supporting partner in Azerbaijan, Benin, Ethiopia and Kenya).

AIDSTAR (Global)

This AIDS Support and Technical Assistance Resources Indefinite Quantity Contract (called AIDSTAR) provides technical assistance and implementation support along the entire continuum of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment. IntraHealth is a member of the consortium led by PSI.

APHIA II (Kenya)

This initiative works to expand the availability of quality, sustainable, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis prevention, treatment, care and support, along with integrated reproductive health, family planning, malaria and maternal and child health services.

Extending Service Delivery (ESD) Project (Global)

This five-year initiative is increasing the availability and use of quality reproductive health and family planning services in developing countries.

Fenote Tesfa (PC4) Project (Ethiopia) 

This initiative increases access to affordable, high-quality HIV/AIDS and TB prevention and care services by enabling private health facilities to provide services directly at worksites. IntraHealth is the partner leading the clinical aspects of the project.

HIV/AIDS Care and Support Project (Ethiopia)

This initiative works to strengthen health care systems and increase the availablility of diagnostic and treatment services for HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis.

Increased Utilization of High Impact Health Services (Mali)

(aka Assistance Technique Nationale)  This project is improving national and district-level support for high-impact health care services, including immunization, vitamin A supplementation, diarrheal disease control, and reproductive health programs.

Keneya Ciwara (Mali) 

To improve health by enabling Malians to recognize and demand good health care services, Ciwara is working with providers to promote health care practices that reinforce mortality-reducing behaviors among mothers and children.

Primary Healthcare Reform Project (PHCR) (Armenia)

This project is fostering high-quality primary health care services and improving Armenia’s family medicine resources through developing curricula and training materials, training doctors and nurses and assisting with the development of family medicine associations.

Project NOVA (Armenia)

Project NOVA aims to improve maternal and child health care in rural areas.

PSP-ICQ (Global)

This initiative aims to increase private-sector provision of health products and services. IntraHealth is a member of the consortium led by Abt Associates.

PSP-One (Global)

This initiative is increasing private-sector provision of quality family planning and reproductive health and other health products and services.

Rwanda HIV/Performance-Based Financing Project  

This initiative works nationally to increase the delivery of HIV/AIDS and primary health care services by rewarding effective management and innovation with monetary and other incentives. 

TASC3 (Global)

This initiative aims to provide quality technical assistance and support for maternal and child health, nutrition, infectious disease, and HIV/AIDS. IntraHealth is a member of the consortium led by RTI International.
